Background

Utilities Department requested bids for water and wastewater chemicals for 2016. Bids were opened on October 27, 2015 and evaluated by City staff. The bid summary is attached with the recommended bid marked by a triple asterisk (***). The recommended bids are based on the low bid that met the chemical specifications and includes shipping requirements. A comparison of chemical use and unit prices from 2011 to September 2015 is attached.

Funding

Purchase will be funded from the Utilities Operations and Maintenance Budget.
