Kids Make a Splash with Aquatics
Lawrence Parks & Recreation Department Partnered with the Lawrence Public Library to bring the second installment of the Bookworms and Waterbugs program this summer. A record number of children and parents participated in the activity that included stories at the Library and swimming at the Outdoor Aquatic Center. See attached for more information.
July Sales Tax Distributions Report
The City of Lawrence has recently received its July sales tax and its share of County sales tax distribution. The distribution is the result of retail sales from mid-March to mid-April. The distribution of $2,882,846 is $37,231 more than the prior year distribution for the same month. See attached report for more information.
March Rental Licensing and Inspection Report
Planning and Development Services submits the March 2015 rental licensing and inspection report for review. See attached for more information.
