Draft Results for 2015 Lawrence Community Survey |
On February 17th, the City Commission authorized the City Manager to execute an agreement with ETC Institute, in the amount of $29,950, to conduct the 2015 Citizen Survey. The City Commission approved the final survey instrument on April 21st. In general, the 2015 survey is very similar to the Lawrence Citizen Survey conducted by ETC in 2011. A few minor updates were made to reflect any changes and modifications in city services since 2008. A new question was added about priorities for the Capital Improvement plan and an additional section on the Lawrence Douglas County Health Department.
The 2015 Lawrence Community Survey was mailed in May to a random sample of households in the City of Lawrence and received a total of 1,330 completed surveys. The results for the random sample of 1,330 households have a 95% level of confidence and margin of error of +/- 2.7%.
The draft results include the tabular data for all the questions. The trends are provided in the charts to compare this year’s survey with both the 2007 and 2011 year surveys.
