Kasold Drive Public Meeting Report

On May 27, 2015 Public Works staff and their consultant hosted a public meeting to discuss the Kasold Drive reconstruction project (Bob Billings Parkway to 6^th Street). During the meeting project goals and options were discussed. The minutes from that meeting are attached.

2015 Sales Tax Distributions Report:

The City of Lawrence has recently received its May sales tax and its share of County sales tax distribution.  The distribution is the result of retail sales from mid-February to mid-March.  The distribution of $2,884,910 is $33,016 less than the prior year distribution for the same month.  See attached report for more information.

May Social Media Report:

The City Communications Office coordinates eight (8) city Facebook pages, three (3) Twitter accounts, and one (1) Instagram account.  As part of our efforts to set benchmarks for improvements in communications and social media usage, a monthly report is available for review which highlights the metrics we use to develop campaigns and best practices, top posts from the previous month, and a monthly summary of activity with observations about how we can apply changes to affect our current results.
