Dedication of utility easement and vacation of right-of-way and temporary turnaround easement associated with Minor Subdivision, MS-15-00215, for Commerce Park East No. 2, located at 1100 & 1200 E 25th Street.

 

 

Background

Minor Subdivisions/Replats are land divisions that are reviewed and processed administratively. These items are placed on the City Commission agenda when easements or rights-of-way are being dedicated or vacated.  A Minor Subdivision for Commerce Park East No. 2, MS-15-00215, was approved by the Planning Director on June 2, 2015 pending the City Commission’s acceptance of the dedication of easement and vacations of right-of-way. The Minor Subdivision and Administrative Determination are attached with this memo for context; however, no action is necessary for the Minor Subdivision.

 

This Minor Subdivision will combine the existing lots at 1100 and 1200 East 25th Street into one lot. The western portion of East 25th Street was originally platted with 80 feet of right-of way, of which, 10 feet is being vacated by this Minor Subdivision and dedicated as utility easement associated with an existing sanitary sewer main. There is also an existing 50 foot temporary turnaround easement vacated by this plat.

 

Action

Accept the dedication of the utility easement, and vacate right-of-way and temporary turnaround easement as shown on the Minor Subdivision, MS-15-00215, for Commerce Park East No. 2.
