July Building Permits

The Building Safety Division issued 177 building permits in July, with total construction for the month valued at $4,043,236.  Total permit fees assessed for the month were $37,348.  Permits were issued for three (3) new residential projects, all for single-family dwellings.   Staff Memo July Permit Report Year-to-date Permit Report

Public Works, Engineering Division and Traffic Operations Mid-Year Report

Staff has prepared the attached report regarding the progress of operations and significant projects.

Transit Neighborhood Meetings

The Transit Department will be holding three (3) neighborhood meetings with residents and property owners near the proposed transit center location at 2021 Stewart Street.  These meetings are targeted at working with the surrounding neighborhood to develop traffic mitigation strategies.  The meetings will be held at the Carnegie Building, 200 W. 9^th Street on the following dates:

• Thursday, August 21, 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
• Wednesday, September 10, 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Wednesday, October 1, 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
