Common Ground Program Update

The city’s Common Ground Program was established in 2012.  In the first growing season, five city-owned properties were licensed for food production.  These included two neighborhood community gardens, a youth-focused garden in a city park, a community orchard for free picking, and a market farm coordinated by college and middle school students.  This month, eight sites will be made available to residents for the 2013 growing season.  Please see the attached presentation and memo for more information.
