RE:	Ordinance No. 8822: Temporary Library Parking

The Lawrence Public Library will be temporarily relocating to 700 New Hampshire Street while significant improvements are made to the current location. In order to serve the needs of library patrons and other residents of the City of Lawrence, the current parking lot located at 700 New Hampshire Street needs to be designated as two (2) hour parking.

Ordinance No. 8822 would designate the parking lot adjoining 700 New Hampshire Street as two (2) hour parking during the duration of the lease agreement between the City of Lawrence and Lawrence Store No. 203 L.L.C.

ACTION REQUESTED

Adopt on first reading, Ordinance No. 8822, establishing that the parking lot adjoining 700 New Hampshire Street as two (2) hour parking for the duration of the lease agreement between the City of Lawrence and Lawrence Store No. 203 L.L.C.
