Archery Classes

Archery is one of the most popular recreational programs at Prairie Park Nature Center. The nature center is a member of the National Archery in the Schools program which uses Genesis compound bows to teach the fundamentals of competition archery for students. Archery is available at all age levels from 7 years old to adults. (For safety reasons, no hunting bows are permitted). Beginning archery classes are conducted for ages 7 to 17 year and adults. Ongoing classes allow individuals to practice their skills. All summer camp programs include archery in the curriculum.
