LPRD Highlights

Due to the ongoing winter storm, City facilities, including City Hall and all Parks, Recreation and Culture facilities, will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 18. This is due to the forecasted winter storm resulting in dangerous travel conditions.

NUTRITION EDUCATION PROGRAM
LPRD has actively pursued to integrate nutrition education into its youth activities, especially programs in the summer, when kids are not in school and in a less-structured environment. This video highlights LPRD’s innovative children’s nutrition education program incorporating the nationally recognized OrganWise Guys program.
