Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a workshop by The Barefoot Builder LLC to create a do-it-yourself wooden sleigh for the holidays.
In DIY Wooden Sleigh, participants 16 years-old and older will assemble and paint or stain their own wooden sleigh to use as seasonal décor all winter long. The workshop will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14 at Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 West 27th St. Cost is $45 per person.
