Christmas Tree-Cycling
After Christmas, live-cut tree are collected at the curb or alley for use as wildlife habitat.
2012-2013 Collection days: MONDAY, December 31 and MONDAY, January 7.
The City of Lawrence Solid Waste crews collected over 2,100 trees during the 2012-2013 Holiday season, almost 1,800 trees during the 2011-2012 Holiday Season, over 2,100 trees during the 2010-2011 Holiday Season and over 2,300 trees during the 2009-2010 Holiday Season.
