Eco Tip

  • Keep you computer and monitor in sleep mode rather than leaving them on around the clock. You will use 80% less electricity, which over the course of a year will have the effect of cutting CO2 emissions by up to 1,250 pounds.

Cardboard, Newspaper & Mixed Paper Drop-off Locations

NEW! Mixed Paper Recycling! Bins are grey and marked "Mixed Paper".

Chipboard (like what cereal boxes are made of), magazines and junk mail can be placed in the Mixed Paper bins .

Green bins are marked "Newspaper Only" and tan bins are marked "Cardboard Only".

Corrugated cardboard and paper grocery sacks only in the cardboard bins. A good way to see if your item is corrugated is to hold it up and look at the edge (cross-section). If you see a wavy line sandwiched between the two outer layers, it counts as corrugated.

No plastic sacks, string/twine or debris in any of the bins, please!
