Waste Reduction and Recycling
Spring Compost Sale - Sold Out
The City’s annual spring compost sale closed early afternoon on Friday and will not reopen for the remainder of the weekend due to record compost distribution and forecasted snow. On Friday, around 3:00 p.m., the City ran out of all compost available to the public. The city’s annual spring compost sale began on Thursday and residents took advantage of the nice weather to haul away their compost. There is a small amount of compost left at the site but it will be used for city projects this spring. Another compost sale will be held in the fall.
