The City of Lawrence, Kansas provides the ability for registered users to post comments on some pages of the web site at lawrenceks.org.
You agree to the following follow the rules for posting online.
Rules for Posting Online
By registering to post on lawrenceks.org, you guarantee:
- You are least 13 years of age. If you are under age 13, please use the web site’s feedback form.
- You will not post content that degrades others on the basis of gender, race, class, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual preference, disability or other classification.
- You will not post content that is offensive, libelous, defamatory, indecent, harmful, harassing, intimidating, threatening, hateful, abusive, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, or offensive in a sexual, racial, cultural, or ethnic context.
- You will indemnify the City of Lawrence, Kansas from any and all claims and/or damages resulting from any claim brought by any third party relating to content you have posted.
- You may not impersonate others.
- You will not knowingly post content that violates the copyright, trademark, patent or other intellectual property right of any third party.
- You understand and agree that the discussion forums are to be used only for non-commercial purposes. You may not solicit funds, promote commercial entities or otherwise engage in commercial activity.
- You understand that and agree information contained in comments may contain technical inaccuracies, typographical errors and personal opinions.
- You are responsible for the content you post.
The City of Lawrence, Kansas will monitor user-generated content as it chooses and reserves the right (but is not obliged to do so) to remove or alter content it deems violates any of the criteria above at any time without notice.
Violation of any the above rules may also result in the disabling your username.
