AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS, 2008 EDITION AND AMENDMENTS THERETO, RELATING TO TRUCK DELIVERY ROUTES.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

SECTION 1: From and after the effectiveness of this ordinance the City Engineer is hereby directed to amend the Schedule of Truck Delivery Routes (Schedule 18), maintained by the Office of the City Engineer, as follows:

SCHEDULE 28

TRUCK DELIVERY ROUTES. Truck Delivery Routes are hereby established in the following locations. Intracity deliveries shall be made via the most direct route between origin and destination using truck routes whenever possible. Trucks making multiple deliveries shall use truck routes whenever possible to reach their initial destination; trucks may leave truck routes using truck delivery routes following the most direct route between stops and back to a truck route.
