Manage Your Utility Service

Establish service - Apply to start water, sewer and trash pick-up at your address.	Transfer service - Moving? We can get you transfered to your new location.	Stop service - We're sorry to see you go. Use this form to stop your service.

Applications must be received three+ business days in advance. In summer, five to seven business days may be required. If requested service date is within 15 days of the previous tenant, we will match their service date.

Pay Your Utility Bill

Pay your utility bill online with a Visa or MasterCard. The City of Lawrence uses Official Payments Corporation to process credit card payments online, as well as over the telephone. To pay with a Visa or MasterCard by telephone call (888) 255-0126.

A convenience fee of $3.95 is charged by Official Payments Corporation for each credit card transaction made online or by telephone. Payments made through OPC may take up to three business days to be posted to your account. Late payment fees will be assessed on payments received after the due date.

Get Your Account Information

	Account Information Online - Registered customers can view information about their utility account online. Don't have a username? To get started, visit the online billing registration page.
	Account Information by Phone - Customers can obtain information about their utility account 24 hours a day , 7 days a week by calling (785) 832-7878. Using the account number located on the front of the utility bill, our customers can access current and past due balances, service disconnect dates and billing and payment history.
	E-Billing - existing utility customers can have their monthly utility billing statement e-mailed to them. Choose to receive your statements by e-mail only, or e-mail and U.S. mail. To get signed up, visit the e-billing sign up page.
