Completed Tasks through January 29, 2007
- Held additional solids/liquids review meeting on January 25, 2007.
- Reviewed revised wet- and dry-weather flow strategies with staff.
- Draft corridor strip map prepared and reviewed with staff.
- Updated preliminary cost estimates of the collection system and treatment facilities.
- Continued to address storm water issues and flood mitigation of the selected site.
- Addressed questions received from Kansas Department Health and Environment’s review of the Siting Study. Follow-up meeting with KDHE held January 16, 2007.
- Supported City in acquisition of property.
Tasks for February 2007
- Fly aerial survey of WRF and proposed corridor route (delayed due to the snow/ice conditions).
- Update strip maps of possible piping corridor to the Wakarusa WRF utilizing data from the aerial survey.
- Meet with property acquisition team to review corridor. Commence discussions with property owners.
- Submit Draft Basis of Design Report to City for review.
- Finalize Siting Study based on Comments received from City Commission, City Staff, and KDHE. Re-Submit Siting Study to Owner as required.
- Continue to support City in acquisition of property.
