Route plans from junior high schools to downtown:
Southwest Junior High School
From Southwest Junior High to Downtown (Route 5 Eastbound then TRANSFER to Route 8 Northbound)
Take the bus on Route 5 Eastbound in front of Southwest Jr. High on Inverness Dr. at approximately 2:00 p.m. and take it to 23rd and Ousdahl arriving at 2:25 p.m. STUDENTS MUST INFORM THE DRIVER THAT YOU WANT TO TRANSFER TO ROUTE 8 NORTHBOUND AT 23RD AND OUSDAHL. The driver will call ahead and have the Route 8 bus wait a couple extra minutes for the Route 5 Eastbound bus to make the transfer. Upon transfer, Route 8 Northbound bus will arrive downtown at 9th and Mass at 2:40 p.m.
From downtown to Southwest Junior High (Route 7 Southbound then TRANSFER to Route 5 Westbound)
Take the 4:44 p.m. bus from downtown at 9th & Mass on Route 7 Southbound to 31st and Iowa arriving at 5:09 p.m., then TRANSFER to Route 5 Westbound departing at 5:09 p.m. from 31st and Iowa arriving at Southwest Jr. High at approximately 5:20 p.m. 36 to 40-minute travel time.
South Junior High School
From South Junior High to Downtown (Route 7 Northbound)
Take the 1:45 p.m. bus (approximate time, please be at stop a few minutes early) on Route 7 Northbound from Louisiana and 27th downtown to 9th and Mass. This bus will arrive at 2:00 p.m. 15 minute travel-time.
From downtown to South Junior High (Route 7 Southbound)
Take the 4:44 p.m. bus from downtown at 9th & Mass on Route 7 Southbound to 27th St. and Louisiana with arrival at approximately 4:59 p.m. 15 minute travel-time.
West Junior High School
From West Junior High to downtown (Route 6 Counter-Clockwise Eastbound)
Take the 1:52 p.m. Route 6 Counter-Clockwise Eastbound bus from Harvard and Iowa downtown to 9th and Mass. The 1:52 p.m. bus will arrive at 2:00 p.m. 8 minute travel-time.
From downtown to West Junior High (Route 6 Clockwise Westbound)
Take the 4:43 p.m. bus from downtown at 9th & Mass on Route 6 Clockwise Westbound to Harvard St and Iowa St with arrival at approximately 4:50 p.m. 8 minute travel-time.
