Communicate to the Community that as the City’s Financial Condition Improves, Additional Program Improvements and Enhancements Can Be Undertaken
§ Staff will concentrate efforts in 2008 to find non-financial means to enhance the following programs:
o Rental Registration Program – focus on educating tenants and landlords on their rights and responsibilities, respectively, regarding safe and appropriate housing; continue to provide inspections upon request
o Reduce pesticide use in City parks – focus on activities that will reduce pesticide use, discover alternative methods and products, and partner with volunteer efforts.
