  1. Chris Cobb wanted information about government programs that provide conservation-related rebates.  Michelle Crank said that there were two that she was aware of and would look further for the details:
    1. Nationally sponsored incentive regarding solar panels
    2. State sponsored incentive regarding charging stations

  1. RRCAB E-Mails
    1. Previous to this meeting, Laura Di Routh let the board know that she does not want to be in charge of responding to the citizen email due to a difference of opinion between Laura and Solid Waste management about how to respond to them.  The board will need to determine how to proceed with this project.  Some ideas were:

                                                               i.      Chris Cobb suggested putting a note on the website letting people know that we welcome comments, although we may not be able to answer every email.

ii.      Marie Stockett suggested taking the invitation to email off of the website for the time being since we do not yet have a system in place for responding to emails in a timely fashion.  Respond in the near future to the emails we have already received.  Possibly put the email address back on the website once we have a workable system.

    1. Since there was not a quorum, we will need to revisit this issue at the next board meeting

  1. E-Waste Management Policy—Mollie reported that KDHE staff was advised not to submit the proposed legislation this year due to upcoming election year & potential negative reaction.  KDHE may talk to other entities about bringing forward legislation.
