9th Street: Iowa to Kentucky

Project description

The project includes the removal and replacement of curb and gutter sections, milling, patching, and overlay on W 9th St from Iowa St to Tennessee St, including the widening of a portion of W 9th St at Avalon Rd to provide a turning lane.

Project Schedule

Work is planned to begin June 8, 2009 and completed in early August 2009.  The Contractor will place notices at your residence or business, a minimum of 48 hours in advance, notifying you when work will begin and advising when vehicles will need to be moved.  Traffic may be interrupted on streets in your area due to street closures or may be reduced to one lane.  Access to driveways may also be restricted for several days during construction.

Please Note:  Street closures will occur on W 9th St between Iowa and Emery starting June 10, 2009 and anticipated to end in early July.  Only Local Traffic will be maintained through this portion of 9th St during this period of time.
