Richard Haig called the meeting to order at 8:03 PM.
•1. Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) Meeting #1
Coffman Associates led the first PAC meeting for the new Airport Master Plan 7 - 8 PM.
- 2. Review and approval of June 28, 2010 meeting minutes
The June 28, 2010 Board Meeting minutes were reviewed. Theresa Gordzica moved and Stan Sneegas seconded the motion to approve the minutes. Motion passed by a vote of 4 - 0.
- 3. Airport Manager's Report
Utilities (Sewer) Update: Public meeting will be scheduled for September. Easement acquisition (from six property owners) will also proceed.
Grants: The city submitted two applications: T-Hanger ($500,000) and Sewer Extension ($300,000). The State received 73 applications for a total of $15 million requested. They only have $1.2 million available. The KDOT Committee meeting is scheduled for August 18 for project selection.
•4. FBO Report
The FBO reported that KP&L was in the process iof securing FAA approval for a tall construction crane. He also reported that Jet traffic was down approximately 40-50 % year to date.
•5. Open House - Tentatively planned for October 9
Member assignments were reviewed for the airport Open House.
•6. Miscellaneous
The meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:57 PM.
