Hierarchy of Plans
Long Range Planning
The hierarchy of plans describes the different types of plans, from broad to specific, that are used in the planning process. Each plan is described, identified as to when that plan is appropriate, and the purpose or reason for the plan. Also described are common steps in the development of any of the listed plans. These documents were adopted by the City Commission August 16, 2006 and by the Board of County Commission September 11, 2006. All of these documents, including a document with all the plan descriptions, and a diagram are available below.
