Skatepark Rules & Regulations

Here is a list of Rules and Regulations, as well as a few Safety Guidelines to make you visit to a Lawrence skatepark enjoyable.

Rules & Regulations
  • Only skateboards and skates may be used at the facility. No bicycles or motorized vehicles.
  • It is an unsupervised area; participate at your own risk, use caution to avoid injury.
  • Children under 5 years of age should not use the skatepark.
  • Users should wear safety equipment: helmets, kneepads, elbow pads and other safety equipment to minimize injuries
  • No glass containers in fenced skating area
  • Alcohol and drug-free zone
  • No graffiti or defacing property
  • No unauthorized ramps or obstacles permitted
  • Help keep this area clean! Please use trash containers
  • Park hours: 6 to 11:30 p.m.
  • LPRD may reserve a skatepark for lessons or events

Safety Guidelines
  • Know your abilities and skate at your own risk
  • Wear safety equipment
  • Do not proceed down ramps until clear of other skaters
  • Skate with traffic on course
  • Weather conditions will affect ramps and surface conditions
