The Ethel and Raymond F. Rice Foundation was incorporated on Feb. 11, 1972, as a non-profit Kansas corporation, with the stated purpose of distributing funds to charitable organizations and educational charities and institutions.
As of Dec. 31, 2006, the Foundation has contributed $10,476,326 to organizations and institutions, most of which are in Douglas County, Kan.
