Advisory board welcomes community input and feedback on sustainability for upcoming planning session
(Lawrence, Ks.) - The City of Lawrence Sustainability Advisory Board will embark on a planning effort that involves long-range goal setting. Current issues under consideration include increased options for improving residential waste reduction and recycling, the promotion of energy conservation and public transportation, and encouragement of sustainable business and development.
Community organizations and individuals may submit their ideas and priorities regarding sustainability to the Sustainability Advisory Board via email to sab@ci.lawrence.ks.us by March 1st.
