The next regularly scheduled meeting will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2010, at the City Commission Chambers in City Hall, 6 E 6th Street. The public is welcome to attend.
The Human Relations Commission consists of nine members from diverse racial, ethnic, commercial, industrial, and other segments of the community who work to eliminate discrimination in employment, public accommodations, and housing. Some of the activities include study of the problem of discrimination and any other matter which may have an adverse impact on community relations, promote good will and cooperation among diverse ethnic groups and other elements of the population of Lawrence
