Midrange systems

Information Systems maintains a number of centralized financial applications housed on an IBM ISeries/400 computer running software applications purchased from H.T.E., Inc. (Lake Mary, FL). City departments may access the following installed HTE applications:

  • Accounts Receivable
  • Asset Management
  • Business Licenses
  • Cash Receipts
  • Code Enforcement
  • Customer Information System (Water billing)
  • Extended Reporting
  • GMBA Budgetary Accounting
  • Land/Parcel Management
  • Payroll/Personnel
  • Purchasing/Inventory

and the following non-HTE applications:

  • Building Permit System
  • Cemetery Records
  • Mailing Labels
  • Special Assessments

In addition to HTE applications midrange personnel are responsible for ISeries/400 computer operations, application development, custom programming, report generation, and data transfers.
