Days city offices are closed
City offices are closed on the following days/holidays:
- New Year's Day (observed), January 2 (Commercial trash pick-up only)
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day - 3rd Monday in January (Commercial trash pick-up only)
- President's Day - 3rd Monday in February (Commercial trash pick-up only)
- Memorial Day - Last Monday in May (Commercial trash pick-up only)
- Independence Day - July 4 (Commercial trash pick-up only) Wednesday residential trash will be picked up July 5. Thursday residential trash will be picked up July 6.)
- Labor Day - 1st Monday in September (Commercial trash pick-up only)
- Thanksgiving - 4th Thursday in November (Thursday residential customers living north of 23rd Street/Clinton Parkway will get trash picked up on Nov. 20. Thursday residential customers living south of 23rd Street/Clinton Parkway will get trash picked up on Nov. 21.)
- Day after Thanksgiving - 4th Friday in November (commercial trash pick-up only)
- Christmas Day - December 25 (Tuesday residential trash will be picked up on Wednesday, December 26. Wednesday residential trash will be picked up on Thursday, December 27. Thursday residential trash will be picked up on Friday, December 28.)
