Aron Cromwell has a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from KU and a Masters in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
Together with his wife Hannah, the Cromwell's run an environmental consulting and solar design/installation firm in downtown Lawrence, Cromwell Environmental.
The Cromwell's son Alder (14) is a 8th grader at Central Jr. High. Aron is a past co-president and board member of the Lawrence Community Nursery School and previously served on the board of directors for the Lawrence Community Mercantile (the Merc).
