Assistant City Manager Cynthia Boecker oversees city services and activities among city departments while assisting with the planning and operations of all city services. Her duties include implementing city goals, policies and working with other agencies.

Boecker reports to City Manager David Corliss.

Boecker is the former assistant city administrator in the city of Liberty, MO. She was with Liberty since 2000 and served as interim city administrator during that time. She has worked in Overland Park as budget manager and has also held management positions in Bowling Green, KY and Lexington, MA. She holds a masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Kansas and also from KU a degree in Political Science.
