NOTICE TO OUTSIDE
AGENCIES:
Enclosed please find the “2004 Outside Agency Funding Request Form”. This form is used for applications to the City of Lawrence for general fund awards for budget year 2004. The form is not to be used for Alcohol Tax Funding Requests. Please use this form as a cover page to any supporting documents (maximum of three pages) for your request for funding. You can request the form to be e-mailed to you as a Word document by contacting me at 785-832-3402 or send me an e-mail at dvansaun@ci.lawrence.ks.us.
The deadline for submission of your request for funding is 5:00 p.m., Monday, April 14, 2003. Per the instructions on the form, twelve (12) copies of the form with supporting material need to be submitted by that deadline.
We anticipate the City Commission using the same format for the 2004 budget process that was initiated last year, therefore, agencies requesting funding should plan on making presentation to the Commission. These sessions are tentatively planned for May 1st and 2nd, but a definitive schedule will be provided once all the applications for funding have been received.
