RE:	Signs of Community Interest Request, GoFourth! Festival 2016

Background

Richard Renner, representing the GoFourth! Festival 2016, has requested permission to display temporary event signs to promote GoFourth! Festival 2016, which will take place on July 4, 2016.  The sign graphics would include the message “GoFourth family fun and fireworks free admission-food-music-beer-fun and games-classic car cruise july 4^th\\3-10 pm\\ burcham park”.  The signs would be located at four intersections:

6th & Kentucky Street, NE corner, one (1) 4’x10’ banner;

23rd & Massachusetts, NW corner, one (1) 4’x6’ banner;

2nd & Massachusetts, SE corner, one (1) 4’x6’ banner; and

6th & Wakarusa, NE corner, one (1) 4’x6’ banner.

Action

Approve as “Signs of Community Interest” a request from GoFourth! Festival 2016 to place temporary signs at various locations from June 4, 2016 through July 4, 2016.
