RE:	Advisory Committee on the City Commission Vacancy Report

Pursuant to City Commission direction, as set forth in Resolution No. 7138, the Advisory Committee on the City Commission Vacancy met on September 24, 2015, and selected not more than six (6) finalists whose names it forwards to the City Commission for consideration to fill the vacant City Commission position (see attached).    The City’s website contains additional materials of interest.

Action

Receive list of finalists from Advisory Committee on the City Commission Vacancy.  Select the applicants the City Commission will interview and consider to fill the vacant City Commission position.  Direct the City Attorney to notify the applicants selected for the interviews which shall be conducted at a Special Meeting of the Governing Body on October 1, 2015, at 5:45 p.m. in the City Commission Room of City Hall.
