Bid date for Master Street Tree Project

 

Project Description

The Parks and Recreation Department requests approval to bid the purchase and installation of 156 street trees. These trees are part of the City’s Master Street Tree Program, where property developers pay the City to install trees on newly developed properties. The successful bidder will plant these trees over the next 4- 6 months.   

 

Project Funding

It is estimated that the total of this project will be $52,000-$55,000 and will be funded using the fees collected from property developers.

 

Action Request

The Parks and Recreation Department requests Commission approval to set a bid date of October 6, 2015, for the 2015 Master Street Tree Project.
