Event Permit – 2015 Octoginta; October 4, 2015 |
The Lawrence Bicycle Club has applied for a Street Event Permit for the closure of Massachusetts Street from 11th Street to 13th Street on Sunday, October 4, 2015, from 6:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. for staging of bicycle riders for the annual Octoginta ride. Access to all of the churches in the area will be maintained. The entire route for the ride is still being finalized, and organizers are working with city and county law enforcement agencies on those plans (see map).
In addition; Police, Parks and Recreation, Public Works, Fire/Medical, Lawrence Transit, Downtown Lawrence, Inc., and the Chamber all have reviewed this permit with no issues. The Lawrence Association of Neighborhoods was also notified.
ACTION
