RE:	Sign of Community Interest Request, Pilot Club of Lawrence

Background

Pilot Club of Lawrence is holding their annual Antique Show and Sale at the Douglas County Fairgrounds on Saturday September 18 and Sunday September 19, 2015, and has requested permission to place one temporary directional sign at the northwest corner of 23^rd Street and Harper Street.  The sign would be approximately four (4) square feet in area, similar to a typical real estate sign.

Action

Approve as a “Sign of Community Interest” a request from the Pilot Club of Lawrence to place a temporary directional sign at the northwest corner of 23^rd Street and Harper Street, from September 18 to September 19, 2015.
