Chair Chris Champagne called the meeting to order at 4:10 p.m.
Review and approve minutes from March 26, 2015 and April 23, 2015 meetings.
After review, Epperson made a motion to approve both the March 26th and April 23rd meeting minutes. Seconded by Duncan. Pass 4-0.
Continue discussion of 2012 IRC ordinance and significant changes to mechanical portions of 2015 IRC
Duncan began the discussion by asking to retract the proposed changes regarding the outdoor design temperature. He stated he had some discussions with people about the changes and decided it was not the boards place to change those requirements. After discussion, the board agreed to remove the proposed changes as discussed.
There was a discussion on the language of the proposed amendment concerning return air from more than one floor level. The language was changed to read: “Multiple floors shall not utilize the same stud wall cavity to convey air”.
Duncan moved the proposed amendments along with the changes as discussed be accepted for adoption approval. Seconded by Epperson. Pass 4-0.
