RE:	Signs of Community Interest Request, Fall Parade of Homes

Background

The Lawrence Home Builders Association has requested permission to display temporary directional signs at various locations throughout the City to promote their Fall Parade of Homes event, which takes place over two weekends, September 26 & 27 and October 3 & 4, 2015.  Up to three directional arrow signs for each Parade of Homes entry would be set out on the morning of Saturday, September 26, and removed by the morning of Monday, October 5, 2015.  The proposed signs are less than one square foot in area each and graphics are limited to a directional arrow with the Parade of Homes assigned entry number (1 through 17).

Action

Approve as “Signs of Community Interest” a request from the Lawrence Home Builders Association to place signs at various locations from September 26 through October 5, 2015.
