RE:	Chair of Advisory Committee on the City Commission Vacancy

Resolution No. 7138, adopted by the City Commission last week, established the Advisory Committee on the City Commission Vacancy. The resolution provides for the Mayor to appoint a chair “who shall conduct and be in charge of all meetings” of the Advisory Committee. I recommend Joe Harkins serve as the Chair of this Committee.

Action:

Approve the Mayor’s appointment of Joe Harkins to serve as the Chair of the Advisory Committee on the City Commission Vacancy, if appropriate.
