Background

The Lawrence-Douglas County Planning Commission approved the Bauer Farm Seventh Plat final plat at their June 22, 2015 meeting, subject to conditions of approval. The plat was then placed on the City Commission’s July 7, 2015 agenda for acceptance of dedications of easements and rights-of-way.

Project Description (if applicable)

The sanitary sewer main was later relocated to accommodate changes in the Final Development Plan. The sewer main was moved from the Bauer Farm Drive right-of-way into the lot to the south. A utility easement is required for utility mains on private property; therefore, the applicant revised the plat to show the sanitary sewer easement in the new location. The revised plat has been placed on your agenda for acceptance of dedications.

Action

Accept the dedications of easements and rights-of-way, as updated on the revised plat, if appropriate.
