Private Street Name Change: Candy Lane to Lakeside Lane |
Background
The sole property owner of the private street "Candy Lane" submitted a request to the Public Works Department to change the street name to "Lakeside Lane". The property owner notified the residents (letter attached) and to date staff has received one response from a resident in favor of the name change. Staff has not received notice from any resident against the name change. The post office can make the name change at the direction of the city (response attached).
Action
Receive request from David Hamby on behalf of Garber Property Management for consideration of changing street named Candy Lane to Lakeside Lane, and pending public comment, adopt Ordinance 9123 renaming the private street "Candy Lane" to "Lakeside Lane".
