Dedication of easement associated with Minor Subdivision, MS-15-00181, for Simpson’s Subdivision No. 2, located at 815 Oak Street.

 

 

Background

Minor Subdivisions/Replats are land divisions that are reviewed and processed administratively. These items are placed on the City Commission agenda when easements or rights-of-way are being dedicated or vacated.  A Minor Subdivision for Simpson’s Subdivision No. 2, MS-15-00181, was approved by the Planning Director on May 20, 2015 pending the City Commission’s acceptance of the dedications. The Minor Subdivision and Administrative Determination are attached with this memo for context; however, no action is necessary for the Minor Subdivision.

 

This Minor Subdivision will divide the existing lot at 815 Oak Street into two lots. A 45 ft. wide utility easement is provided along the east property line to accommodate an existing sanitary sewer main and an 18 ft. wide easement is provided on the east property line for storm sewer lines.

 

Action

Accept the dedication of the utility easements as shown on the Minor Subdivision, MS-15-00181, for Simpson’s Subdivision No. 2.
