RE:	Recommendations for City Commission from the Lawrence Cultural Arts Commission regarding wastewater treatment plan percent for art and funding for the Free State Festival

At its January 18, 2015 meeting, the Lawrence Cultural Arts Commission unanimously passed the following recommendations for the City Commission:

· The Lawrence Cultural Arts Commission recommends that Percent for Art be applied at 2% on the Wastewater Treatment Plant project, funds generated to be used for public art at locations within the community of Lawrence having high public access.

· The Lawrence Cultural Arts Commission recommends that City of Lawrence provide financial support for the 2015 Free State Festival.
