City Commission to Consider Street Closures for KU Relays Events

On March 24, 2015, the Lawrence City Commission will consider a request to close the 100 block of E 8^th Street and the intersection of 8^th Street and New Hampshire Street from 6:00 a.m. Friday April 17, 2015 to 6:00 a.m. Saturday April 18, 2015 for the 2015 Downtown Olympic Shot Put event. This closure would take place so that shot put event could take place in the street.
