Background

The Solid Waste Division outlined in the 2015 budget process the replacement of two (2) rear load refuse trucks.  The Solid Waste Division has scheduled the replacement of two (2) older trucks that have been accumulating high repair costs and are at the end of their usable service to its operation. The equipment replacement schedule is based on age, mileage, hours of use, and cost of maintenance and upkeep.  Bids were requested under the City’s purchasing policy.
