RE:	Award bid for one (1) half ton 4X4 truck

Background

The City Commission authorized funds for the replacement of Parks & Recreation Department equipment in the 2015 budget process.  This vehicle is a scheduled replacement for Unit No. 588 which is a 1999 model year truck.  This vehicle transports materials, tooling, and staff for park maintenance operations.

Staff Recommendation

The Central Maintenance Garage and Parks & Recreation Department recommends the purchase of one (1) half ton 4X4 from Laird Noller Ford in the amount of $21,854.
