RE:	Sign of Community Interest Request, Pilot Club of Lawrence

Please place this item on the next available City Commission agenda.

Pilot Club of Lawrence is holding an Antique Show and Sale at the Douglas County Fairgrounds the weekend of February 21-22, 2015, and has requested permission to place a temporary directional sign on the US Bank property at 1600 E. 23^rd Street, which is the northwest corner of the intersection at 23^rd and Harper Streets.

The sign graphics would include the message “Antique Show” with a directional arrow, and would be the approximate size of a typical real estate sign.

Action

Approve as “sign of community interest”, a request from Pilot Club of Lawrence to place a temporary directional sign at 1600 E. 23^rd Street from February 21-22, 2015.
