Background
In 2009 the City purchased Innoprise Enterprise Resource Planning Software and began replacing the City’s SunGard H.T.E. Public Sector software the City had used for 25 years. The software modules provides a variety of applications that serve all departments, including financial software for budgeting and accounting, purchasing, inventory, business licenses, asset management, cash receipts, accounts receivable, payroll, personnel, utility billing, building permits, code enforcement cases and several eGov solutions. Innoprise is a division of Harris ERP Software.
Program Funding
Software maintenance fees are funded annually by the base budgets in the primary user departments. Because of the large number and variety of software applications in use, several accounts are used to fund the maintenance fees. Specifically funding would come from these sources:
